Nicole is a recent graduate from Northwestern University’s Linguistics PhD program, where she led research on how adults learn to produce words and syllables of new languages, harmonizing biometric data with experimental task data to uncover the role of sleep in this process. At Northwestern, she also analyzed survey data for social good in partnership with Bilingualism Matters Chicago and other graduate student organizations. Nicole enjoys leveraging her previous experience in web development and design to create compelling data visualizations and interfaces.
